As a kiddo, I was always working on all sorts of puzzles, and toys, then growing my skill set as a teenager helping out with all sorts of things that required tools around the house including appliances. In my early adult years I became involved in new appliance sales, repair parts sales, and progressed to achieving my Red Seal Journeyman Appliance Service Technician certificate. Now I carry on my days helping folks all over by helping keep their appliances serviced when needed by providing quality repairs with a team of people that I trust to do the job safely and efficiently.
We provide diagnostics and repairs to all major residential appliances such as:
refrigerators - freezers - ranges - wall ovens - cooktops - dishwashers - microwaves - washers - dryers
Brands we service Include:
Whirlpool - Panasonic - Maytag - Samsung - Jenn-Air - Danby - Bosch - LG - Broan - Sears - GE - Amana - KitchenAid - Electrolux - Frigidaire - Hotpoint - Inglis - Moffat - Westinghouse - Crosley
Alright you left me a message about something that is just not working right, and now its my turn to get started. But wait! I can’t just show up at your door and fix it! I first need to do some homework on your service request, and that usually starts by giving you a call back just to ask some questions… preliminary research if that’s the fancy way to say it these days.
Model number, type of appliance, problem you are having, how long has this been going on for, etc… check, check, check. Ok.
Showing up at the door without doing the homework required just doesn't work anymore. There is just so much technology packed into these machines. And here is why.
For every symptom there could be a dozen or two things that can cause that failure. Take an ice maker for example when it's not making ice. There is the electrical, water, airflow, and refrigerant circuits, not to mention temperature, mechanical switches, child lockouts, humidity, doors left open etc…
So before I come out, I need to read a cookbook, err, a service manual, wiring diagram, schematics, etc… and absorb all the technical aspects of the machine, as well as all the other machines I am working on during the day!
So, for every symptom noted and before we actually begin diagnosing in person, we need to build a diagnostic plan for your issue, and think outside the box so to speak, as just as a rubric’s cube, one small move in that plan changes everything we are doing every step of the way with the diagnostic plan and then with the conclusion of a successful repair.
So there seems to be a zillion new machines churned out of all the different factories all over the world every year. And they keep it challenging to do the repairs as they build them with new untested technology for us every year. Fun Fun! The best way to help get you to the top of the list in getting that repair done quickly is to have the model number as well as a description of the problem you are experiencing! Manufactures catalog all technical resources like service manuals, wiring diagrams and parts lists exclusively through that alpha numerical code!
Let us bring our toolbag and experience to you! The nature of appliances is that for the most part they are repairable in your home. Travel time is a considerable part of our service day.
Our service area includes:
Blackfalds, Lacombe, Ponoka, Gull Lake, Rimbey, Bentley, Sylvan Lake, Eckville, Condor, Leslieville, Rocky Mountain House, Caroline, Stauffer, Spruce View, Gleniffer Lake, Bowden, Innisfail, Penhold, and Red Deer.
This is our favorite part because it is the best part that reflects the quality of our workmanship. We guarantee our work! If the machine fails again for the same reason you called us the first time, We will get that repair back on track as quickly as humanly possible! 30 Days labor, 90 Days on parts if installed by a qualified technician! It's just that simple!
If you would like to see your old units rebuilt and given the opportunity to serve another home, this is the place! Every unit that comes through our shop will go through an extensive overhaul even if it works just fine to ensure its longevity for the next client. Our focus is on saving the units that are going to the dump that are broken and unusable. We rebuild them to give someone else a chance to have a quality machine.
Free drop off at our new Red Deer Service shop! Please call to give us a heads up that you are dropping off please. We like to keep our entrance doors tidy! 403-304-8324. Sign is on the door!

Rebuilding every little bit that can be passed around and in people’s homes is exactly what our goal is! Thank you for your interest in our cause!
We do get quite a few clients who renovate their homes, and in doing so, they decide hey, let's go get some new shiny appliances and ask us if they can drop off the ones they have whether they work well or not. Oh the mirage of bells and whistles at the big box store! We enjoy our part in helping keep appliances out of the landfill and working in your home for years! We go through every machine, and if it makes it through the refurbishment overhaul process - tear down - rebuild - extensive testing - cleaning... We make them available for people to buy at prices that are far lower that buying new. Besides not everyone wants a machine for its bells and whistles. You just want it to do what is was originally intended to do!
As our appliance repair business grows, we have been thinking about how we can find new ways to give back to the community. Due to the nature of our economy bouncing around so much the last several years, there are just so many that simply do not have the ability to pay for these needed services. So instead of turning down these individuals we have decided to launch a pilot program.
Free Appliance Repair Services + Cost of parts if required.
This program will be available every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month in the town of Sylvan Lake.
As this program operates on the honour system, we don't want to hurt anyone's dignity by proving they can't afford repairs.
Also please note: This program is intended to help individuals and single-family homes, and Not Landlord Investors.
In order to effectively help our community in need of these services, please reference “Charity Wednesday” when you leave a voicemail or when using our online website form.
Well let’s get started! Just need a bit more information from you, and then we will call you back!
